Session Description: Reimagine your leadership role and become a Chief Emotional Officer. Such a CEO has the ability to take advantage of compassionate leadership. You might not be aware of it, but you have been practicing elements of it for three years while helping employees recover from the pain of the pandemic, political unrest, global conflict, and now economic turbulences resulting in group layoffs.

During the workshop we will discuss:

  • How to Recharge your team’s superpower by bringing people’s whole best selves to work by increasing their Autonomy, Competence and Belonging.
  • How to Reconnect people with the purpose.
  • What the elements of compassionate leadership are:
    • Leaning in discomfort
    • Mastering emotional regulation
    • Resisting the urge to come up with instant solutions
    • Bringing in togetherness that connects a group of people to collectively solve problems, plan actions, and manage everyday challenges
    • Fostering connection with the use of compassionate communication
    • Creating good memories
  • How to practice such compassionate leadership every day.
  • How to prevent compassion fatigue – the dark side of being CEO.

After participating in this session, attendees should be able to:

  • Describe the essential elements of compassionate leadership and be aware of their practical applications
  • Increase their deep listening skills and compassionate communication skills
  • Notice the first signs of compassion fatigue and be able to prevent it
