Session Description:
New research has shown that for 70% of people, their manager has more impact on their mental health than their doctor or therapist -- equal to the impact of their partner! (Dr. Tracy Brower, Forbes, 2023). The manager-employee dynamic can be powerfully productive or woefully fraught. The big question is: what's within YOUR locus of control as an employee to get what you need from your manager? In this workshop we'll focus on exploring ways to develop a mutually beneficial working relationship with your boss. You'll learn how to communicate upward feedback, stay on the same page, earn trust, and get your needs met at work.

- apply strategies deliver upward feedback effectively
- use a template to streamline and clarify communication in 1:1s
- identify how to give their manager what they need and earn trust
