UC Berkeley Women’s Initiative
Over the past three years, we have had over 150 nominations and applications from UC Berkeley for the University of California Women's Initiative (UC WI), a systemwide talent management program designed to elevate women in leadership, establish a pipeline for advancement, and contribute to women’s and UC's success.
As a systemwide program, we are allotted a limited number of spots each year (8-12) to UC WI, so we are unable to provide that particular development opportunity to everyone who has shown interest. As such, we have created the UC Berkeley Women’s Initiative, a professional development companion program of the systemwide initiative. UC Berkeley WI is our way of acknowledging your motivation and drive to grow your career - your efforts have not gone unnoticed!
For this invitation-only, Berkeley-specific professional development conference, we have partnered with CORO Northern California, the same organization that facilitates the systemwide program and created an exciting day of development, including a moderated conversation, an inspiring keynote speaker, a CORO-led workshop, and the opportunity to network with like-minded individuals from our campus.
The UC Berkeley Women's Initiative will take place on Friday, October 13, 2023 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m (doors open at 10:00 a.m. for an 11 a.m. start time).
