Session Description:In this workshop, you will learn how to develop and perfect your ability to create and participate in collaborative teams. The three presenters will provide examples of collaboration from our perspective fields, including academia, not-for-profit, and for-profit business sectors,
The audience will learn how to turn teams into collaborative, high-performing teams and:

Gain an understanding of the eight success factors in building collaborative teams in order to “THRIVE” in the workplace.

Participate in breakout sessions will begin to integrate these team-building skills and practice using exercises to “UPSKILL” and build these new ones. Participants will share their experiences and thoughts on collaboration, therefore sharing their knowledge with their group and deepening their understanding of team building and building trust within their break group.

Understand the importance of their contribution within large teams: how to optimize their impact, perform at their best, and explore opportunities to advance. Explore the value of joining teams within your organization that challenge existing skillsets and roles in order to deepen and broaden knowledge to “RESKILL”.

Introduce the success factors that build collaboration across different sectors including training in relationship and communication skills, building trust in teams, developing personal and organizational cultures, and sharing in your community.
Presenters will offer a fun and engaging program with valuable takeaways, and share stories of the best and worst examples of collaboration on teams, as well as new trends.
