Cal has long been considered a national leader in issues of diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging. But where did this narrative come from, and what narratives do we need to advance now? This two-workshop series will allow interested staff to align core values and narratives around diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging programs at Cal. Part one will engage participants in a process of building a shared understanding about the development and evolution of DEIB work through storytelling and narrative building centered in their experiences. Part two of the series will engage participants in discovering shared narratives and building alignment around DEIB work.
