Cal Answers - Campus Workforce Planning Dashboards:
UC Berkeley’s reporting portal Cal Answers includes a set of 3 dashboards that include workforce data. These dashboards are available to all UC Berkeley employees, with CalNet login (and campus VPN if accessing from off campus).

HR Census: tracks the workforce via biannual snapshots going back to 2008. Includes summary data at the department, division, control unit, and campus levels. By job type, gender identity, race/ethnicity, age, and other fields (requires login).

At A Glance: a bird’s eye view of various metrics within a unit (requires login).

Staff Retirement Metrics: visual analytics tool focusing on retirement eligibility within units (requires login).
Note: if you are a UCPath transactional user or an analyst who regularly works with person-level data, you may already have access to additional reports via Cal Answers and/or Cognos. If not, you may want to request access.

Office of Planning and Analysis - Our Berkeley: The Staff Headcount dashboard shows information about UC Berkeley's non-academic staff, on a headcount basis, for each of the last 10 fall terms.

UC Office of the President - Institutional Research and Academic Planning: UCOP’s Information Center hosts several dashboards with employee data. One can filter to view UC Berkeley alone, other UC locations, or the system as a whole.
