Ai Sakura

Bio/CV:

I have my own boutique coaching business that focuses on areas of 1:1 Coaching for EQ-2.0, Communication, Compassion, Coping, Emotions, Goals, Gratitude, Grief, Happiness, Meaning & Values, Mindfulness, Mindset, Motivation, Productivity, Resilience, Relationships, Savoring, Self-acceptance, Strengths, and Work & Career.

I also work with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) SF Chapter as the Board and Membership director to increase engagement in the coaching community in the North American region. I studied finance and international business in my BBA and Masters and have post-grad training in Positive Psychology. I am working towards PCC and NBHWC in 2023. I have logged around 500+ coaching hours.

I come from a bilingual family. In the last ten (10) years, I moved around 10 different cities and lived in four continents including Japan, China, US, and Canada. I have a good understanding of cross-cultural studies (which was my masters thesis) and welcome diversity.

I utilize over 500+ science-backed coaching exercises in positive psychology to enhance the self-awareness and well being of clients. I often ask the client to ponder what they would like to focus on and we can work on the topic in various ways including motivational inquiry, strength finding, appreciative inquiry, powerful questions, and mindset training. My coaching style is personalized to each client, but in general, I have had feedback that it is calming, empowering, respectful, and engaging.

As part of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) San Francisco chapter, I would like to increase coaching awareness through many platforms, such as yours, and I am thankful for the opportunity. I believe that coaching staff members and even students in the future will be an important area of focus, and would like to stay up to date on how this industry continues to change and grow.
