Bio/CV:
Alex Budak is a UC Berkeley Faculty Member, social entrepreneur, and author who works at the intersection of leadership, change, and impact. At UC Berkeley, he created and teaches the transformative course "Becoming a Changemaker," and is Faculty Director of the Berkeley Haas Global Access Program. As a social entrepreneur, Budak co-founded StartSomeGood, which has helped thousands of changemakers launch hundreds of new impact organizations. His new book, Becoming a Changemaker has been called "inspiring" (Nobel Laureate Muhammad Yunus) and "life changing" (Olympic Athlete Alicia Wilson), making the magic of his Berkeley course accessible to all. He's a graduate of UCLA and Georgetown University.
