Prior to transitioning to the Technology Program Office in November 2020, Wayne was a project manager in UC Berkeley’s  Researching, Teaching, and Learning, managing multiple Classroom Technology Upgrade projects to improve the overall teaching/learning experience for faculty and students.  Before joining UC Berkeley, Wayne provided oversight and project management for Kaiser Permanente’s Wireless National Infrastructure Program in which the team successfully implemented wireless infrastructure and services in over 800 buildings.  Before that, Wayne supported the national high-speed network collocation build-out in AT&T Field Operations.  He is a proponent of process improvement and believes the Project Manager is a bridge connecting technology/business to the users/clients.

When not working, Wayne enjoys spending time with his family.  In his spare time, he serves as a table tennis coach in training students to compete in local and national tournaments. This is his way of giving back to the sport he loves.
