After 11 years in higher education, I spent nearly 8 years at the Center for Creative Leadership, immersed in the world of leadership development and coaching. In addition to my training with CCL, I completed the 104 hour coach training with the CoActive Training Institute and am a board certified coach (BCC).
In my professional experience, I have worked with students, colleagues, coachees, and mentors of diverse social identities. Much of my work has centered on social sector work and equity, diversity, and inclusion.
I approach coaching as a partnership where we learn together how to prioritize what is most important to you and create action and momentum toward your goals. My coaching style helps you understand your current skills and desires, challenges you to see things with new perspectives and identify new techniques to try, and supports you throughout the process with empathy and understanding.
As a former academic, I am intimately familiar with the unique challenges of higher education professionals. My years inside and outside of higher education have prepared me to help bring perspective to the leadership challenges of higher education.
