Shweta Shukla is an Executive Coach, Philanthropist, and currently works as Director, People Business Partner, and Location Lead with Mastercard based at their San Francisco, United States, Office. Shweta holds post-graduate degree in Gender Studies along with Human Resources. In the last two decades, she has held various roles within Human Resources ranging from generalist, to specialist, and consulting with organizations like General Electric, Hewitt, Mercer, WNS, and Vodafone. Before moving to the United States with Mastercard, she was double hatting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Leader along with Business Partnering with Mastercard, Southeast Asia team.
Her varied portfolios and diverse cross-industry experiences have helped her gain a good appreciation of linkages between people priorities, talent development, and business strategy. Throughout her career, she has been inclined towards developmental aspects of human resources and people, and firmly believes in the power of coaching and mentoring to sharpen personal and business leadership. Over the years, she has coached many leaders and managers around various leadership competencies needed in workplace. Besides coaching and mentoring for leadership and career success, she has also coached several emerging leaders around life transitions, career, work-life balance, return to work, and for creating personal vision and roadmap.
She has been certified as a Coach by International Coach Federation Coach since 2015, and works to offer coaching as well as mentoring as a pro bono service. She believes that human potential is unlimited, and a coach enables one to direct their thoughts towards taking inspired actions to achieve what is important to them.
