Harumi, Director of Student Services in the Department of Psychology, is a dedicated staff alumna with 20+ years on campus. She credits multicultural roots for her ability to communicate with and bridge communities.
Advocacy for DEIBJ and opportunities for students and staff are her passions. She enjoys inspiring and being inspired by her team, students, faculty, and peers; effectively managing resources to support her department while developing community; and campus-wide efforts making a difference in DEIBJ.
She currently serves on the AMP Management Council and regularly participates with various staff orgs and committees. Off-campus, her preschooler consumes her days.
