Manuela has over 20 years of experience in helping professionals be successful in their lives and careers. Her work experience spans Strategy Consulting at Bain & Company, Product Management and Strategic Development at a successful Silicon Valley start-up, and Executive Director of Product Management and Strategic Planning at AOL.
Manuela supports mid-career professionals who are feeling stuck in creating a career and life they love. She creates a safe and welcoming environment to help them discover their ideal career and role, how to feel more fulfilled and successful in their career and overcome their saboteurs/inner critics to find more joy in their work and life.
Growing up in Germany and being Japanese/Austrian made her aware of different cultures from an early age and she has a passion for working with women and minorities.
She enjoys working with clients who are deeply interested in personal growth and who share her values of kindness and compassion, integrity, dependability, and a sense of humor.
Manuela completed her coach and leadership training at the Coactive Training Institute (CTI) and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from UC Berkeley. She holds the certification of Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
When she is not coaching or learning about what truly fulfills us, she can be found dancing and performing (with the Japanese Yosakoi group "Uzumaru" at the moment) or taking walks with her dog. She also loves traveling and discovering new places.
