Bio/CV:

In my role as the Director of Student Life, my mission is to identify and implement systems of support for the 11,000+ graduate and professional students at UC Berkeley. I collaborate with other staff to design and develop programs and workshops that teach students skills they need to thrive in and beyond academia, consult on ways to streamline processes and break down silos between different arms of campus, and coach students and student leaders to advocate for themselves and for the issues they care about.

I previously worked at Caltech as a Graduate Residential Life Coordinator, overseeing a 450-person residential community and advising the Graduate Student Council. Before joining the world of higher education, I studied Bioengineering as an undergrad in Texas and had a three-year stint working in the entertainment industry.
