Kara Snider is the Associate Director of Alumni Engagement at Berkeley Law and earned a B.A. in American Studies from UC Santa Cruz. Before joining UC Berkeley she was the Associate Director of Alumni Engagement at UC Santa Cruz, specializing in career and professional services and young alumni engagement. Kara has over 18 years of experience in higher education managing programs, producing events, developing student leadership curriculum, and facilitating workshops and training. She is passionate about equity and violence prevention and holds certifications as a trainer in Stop the Hate and Alteristic. In addition to her career in higher education, she has a 20+ year career as a dancer and circus artist. She co-founded three performance groups and the Santa Cruz Aerial Playground, a circus arts studio.
