Jodie Mader

Bio/CV:

I am an experienced, compassionate, and empathetic professional with an extensive background in coaching, development, and client support. Personally, my background is in higher education, having both served as a faculty member (professor, chair, faculty developer, faculty athletic rep) and later a staff member at another university (program manager). Having served in different areas of academia, I can listen and strategize effectively as a coach now working outside of the university world. I enjoy working with clients of various backgrounds in higher ed. I currently serve as a contract coach for Ivy Tech Community College (based in Indiana) where I serve as a leadership coach for faculty/staff professionals looking to develop their skills and roles.

I have over 120+ hours and have coached 8 clients in and outside of higher education. I have been trained by Dr. Katie Linder, https://www.higheredcoaches.com/, working through ICF practices and methodology.

My coaching focuses on goal-orientated productivity, creating realistic plans for meeting objectives, and helping clients align their actions with their personal and professional values. I set up meetings as it works best for clients and always follow up with session notes and actionable items, if needed.
