Hi, I’m Heather Carpenter. I’m a career coach and communications consultant who helps people find clarity, tell their story, and take confident next steps in their careers. I work primarily with early-career professionals and career changers who feel unsure how to position themselves or navigate what’s next.
I bring 40 years of experience across financial services, technology, retail, and food and beverage, along with formal coaching training through the Certified Life Coach Institute. I currently serve as a pro bono Career Coach with Community Action Marin, supporting clients from diverse backgrounds who are navigating career transitions and employment barriers.
My coaching approach is practical, human, and focused. In brief sessions, I create a calm, supportive space, ask thoughtful questions, and help coachees clarify priorities, strengthen their story, and identify realistic next steps. I enjoy working with people at moments of change and would be honored to support NOW conference attendees in a focused coaching conversation.
