Bio/CV:
Fatima Alleyne, Ph.D., is the Chief Diversity and Ethics Officer at the American Physical Society (APS), bringing her passion and love for science, technology, engineering, math, and education into her work to drive transformational change and advance diversity, equity, inclusion, and ethics initiatives. She is an entrepreneur and consultant leveraging her expertise in strategic planning and project management. Prior to her appointment at APS, she was a director in UC Berkeley’s College of Engineering. Fatima earned her Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in materials science and engineering from UC Berkeley and a B.A. in chemistry from City University of New York, Hunter College.
