Currently Berkeley Career Engagement’s Assistant Director for Environmental Design, Dinorah Meyer, MS, NCC, RYT 500, C-IAYT, has 25 years’ experience as a career counselor/coach, including 20+ years working with UC Berkeley’s diverse students and alumni, five years with partners of visiting scholars and postdocs, and 24 years in private practice.
She integrates yoga concepts and practices with Western career counseling approaches to engage clients holistically in exploration and problem-solving. Her work supports clients in building self-awareness and clarity, managing stress, and feeling more grounded and empowered as they navigate career decisions and transitions. She has translated this work into yoga-infused career development workshops for a range of audiences, including UC Berkeley staff at the 2025 NOW Conference and through People & Culture’s NOW Encore Series.
Dinorah has an MS in Counseling from San Francisco State University and a BA in French and Minor in Dance from Tufts University and is a National Certified Counselor (NCC), an advanced Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 500) and IAYT-certified yoga therapist.
