Welcome to your first year as an educator at UC Berkeley. As a new Unit 18 employee of the University, it is important that you understand your rights and responsibilities as you begin your career with us. For this purpose, our office will be holding a mandatory makeup session for the new employee orientation which was held at the beginning of the semester. This orientation will be co-hosted by your labor union, University Council - AFT Local 1474.
