New Online Performance Planning & Review Webform launched!

What’s new?
Following on from the recent Non-represented Staff Salary Program announcement and contingency on completion of performance evaluation forms, we are delighted to announce the new Performance Planning & Review webform.

Based on your positive feedback about the one-page form released last year, we continued to make improvements. It has been converted to an online version with a dashboard for easily tracking completions. Not only is it easier to use, it also saves hundreds of hours in processing time for HR staff who are collecting and archiving the paper versions now. It is available for use with non-represented staff reviews for FY16 (7/1/15 to 6/30/16)

How do I find the online form?
Just go to performance.berkeley.edu and sign in. It is available on an opt-in basis for the FY16 evaluation period. If you already began your evaluations, or for other reasons don’t want to change now, the current forms are still available for use at our HR website.

What are the advantages of the online version?
Besides the fact that we save trees and hundreds of hours of staff time:

  • You get a cloud-based version that you can save, edit, and store for future use.

  • It’s shareable, much like Google Docs, minimizing or avoiding completely the need to print copies.

  • It’s secure, protected by your Cal ID, giving the supervisor ultimate document control.

  • It provides a personalized dashboard where both the supervisor and a second level approver can view the completion status of the reviews.

  • It frees up your time for the important part of the process… giving feedback that helps develop your staff.
