Introducing Our People & Culture Service Level Commitments

Dear Colleagues,

I am thrilled to share some news that marks a significant milestone: we have created People & Culture’s first-ever Service Level Commitments, which include a catalog of services and service levels, and descriptions of roles and responsibilities, including detailed process maps for our work. Our Service Level Commitments set clear, attainable standards for the services we provide and give you the information you need to make our work more transparent and accessible to you.

I encourage you to take some time to review the document. It has been crafted with care and collaboration from many in our community, reflecting our commitment to not only meet, but exceed your expectations. As always, your feedback is incredibly important to us. After reviewing the Service Level Commitments, we welcome any questions, comments, or suggestions you might have to avc-hr@berkeley.edu

The Service Level Commitments are just one step towards improving the delivery of HR services to the campus. We are working diligently to automate more of our processes and anticipate transitioning much of our work to ServiceHub, beginning with Employee and Labor Relations services in summer 2024.
