Open Enrollment is fast approaching. This year our Open Enrollment season runs from Thursday, October 26, at 8 a.m. to Friday, November 17, at 5 p.m. Here are a few ways you can get information to make informed decisions:
1. Check out the materials:
The UC 2024 Open Enrollment website goes live on Monday with all of the details about your options, costs, and what’s changing for 2024. The mailing of Open Enrollment materials was sent on October 19. The pdf of the Open Enrollment booklets can be found on the UC 2024 Open Enrollment website
2. What’s new for 2024?
UC is offering the same high-quality health plans as last year, in addition to a few health and welfare updates featured below:

New vendor for Supplemental Health Plans - Prudential (Please refer to the Open Enrollment materials for information.)
The medical plan rates will be increasing by an overall average of 11%. UC and employers nationwide are feeling the effects of big increases in three main factors that impact medical plan premiums: costs for medical care, costs for prescription drugs, and how much care is used by the people who are insured.
There have been significant increases in medical plan costs - despite UC covering a larger share of premiums - so it’s more important than ever to make sure you understand your options and what you’ll pay. Please review your enrollments even if you do not plan on making any changes.
3. Update your personal information in UCPath:
Make sure that details such as your address and emergency contact information are fully up to date in UCPath. Start now before Open Enrollment to save time and also remember to update your beneficiary information in UCRAYS if applicable.
4. Attend an information session:

UC Path will provide a demonstration video of how to complete the Open Enrollment process which can be found on the UC 2024 Open Enrollment website starting on Monday.

5. Book a one-on-one phone consultation:
