Megan Olivera (she/her) is the Manager of Community Partnerships with RISE (Careers and Leadership Office) at Berkeley Public Health. She has worked at Berkeley for 4.5 years and has supervised student employees since 2023, currently supporting a team of two undergraduates. Deeply committed to student development, Megan believes that effective student supervision—when done intentionally—supports both office goals and students’ long-term professional success. Having been a student employee throughout her own education, experiences that helped shape her career path, she views this work as both heart work and a responsibility: to prepare students for what comes next while uplifting the meaningful contributions they bring to the campus community.
