Session Description:
This workshop will explore the vital role of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Justice, and Belonging (DEIJ&B) in modern work culture and organizational success. Presenters will incorporate polls and interactive components to engage the participants in meaningful dialogue.
While research on "good" leadership often focuses on white male leaders, the global and diverse nature of today's business environment demands a shift in perspective and representation. Promoting DEIJ&B is imperative for effective influence and connection within an organization, starting with leaders from historically marginalized groups, particularly women of color.
This engaging panel presentation will feature current women of color leaders who will share candidly about their unique career experiences, successes, and challenges. The session provides a safe space for panelists to discuss best practices and model various pathways to leadership for women of color who aspire to rise within their organizations.
Attendees will leave the session with a personalized action plan that they can immediately implement to advance their own career trajectory and contribute to a more inclusive workplace.
Learning Outcomes:
