Session Description:
"Collaboration" is often used broadly, leading to misaligned expectations and wasted effort. This session introduces a practical framework to define and request specific types of collaborative engagement. Participants will learn to distinguish between five distinct collaboration types—such as thinking partners and working teams—and explore how different staff roles engage with them. Attendees will leave with a tangible framework and request form to improve clarity and buy-in within their teams.
Learning Outcomes
- Recognize and name five distinct collaboration types and determine when each is appropriate.
- Practice using a collaboration request form to eliminate ambiguity and reduce team confusion.
- Develop an implementation plan and buy-in strategies for applying this framework to your own team
