Performance Planning & Review - Campus Survey

April 7, 2016

Goal - Plan

Last year we simplified the annual Performance Planning & Review form for non-represented staff and tailored it based on your feedback. You had told us that the old performance planning & review forms were cumbersome and made for more work than was necessary. So we set out to create a simple one-page form that focused on the key elements; performance goals, how they are measured, and are they achieved. We also standardized the cycle for all campus units, to improve the efficiency of the overall process and our ability to analyze performance data. Both changes are helping position Berkeley for the use of electronic performance review tools that will be part of UCPath.

After the FY15 review season concluded, we asked you about your thoughts and feelings on how the new form did. And your feedback was immensely helpful. You clearly liked the change, and loved knowing that we heard your comments and incorporated them into making your lives easier when it comes to Performance Planning & Review. Here are some highlights.
